Room at His Inn

Our friend Jamie asked us to do him a solid and put a shout out for room at his inn.

Jamie says, "I live in a two storey house in the Mapleleaf neighborhood up above Green Lake. My current housemate is moving out in Febuary. Rent is 500 a month plus some utilities. No smoking or pets (the latter is perhaps negotiable). There is a nearby bus to downtown, and Northgate is about 20 blocks to the north." Contact by email jamiers1226@yahoo.com.

Need More Ecumenism!

Our friend Erin at Seattle U. campus ministry invites us to the Intercollegiate Service of Prayer for Christian Unity set for Wednesday, Jan. 24, 7-8:30 pm, in the Ecumenical Chapel, Campion Tower, on the Seattle U. campus.

And, yes, even if your "college daze" are over, you, young adults, are welcome.

Seattle University
is located on Capitol Hill at 901 12th Avenue. Parking is available in the E. Cherry parking garage between Broadway & 12th on E. Cherry.

Light and dark a good contrast in W Seattle

Tamara Lewis plays with Christie Aitken on Saturday, Jan. 20, 6-8 pm, at C&P Coffee Co in West Seattle. Our friend Susan says, "Both have strong and interesting voices. Christie's is what I would call 'feel good' music and Tamara's digs into darker or more humorous corners."

C&P Coffee is a cozy venue, and good coffee too, located at 5612 California Ave SW (Cross Street: SW Findlay Street) Seattle, WA 98136.

Discerning Life's Choices

Join us for an evening to reflect in a prayerful way about one’s calling and purpose in life. The next Spirituality on Tap is set for Thursday, Jan. 18, 6:45-8:30 pm, in the Chapel of St. Ignatius at Seattle University. Fr. Patrick Kelly, S.J., is our presenter.

The Spirituality on Tap series of the Ignatian Spirituality Center is an opportunity for young adults to come together for fellowship and to learn a new style of prayer to incorporate into our daily lives. Various locations rotate as hosts each third Thursday of the month. No RSVP required. $5.00 suggested donation. Come as you are.

Co-sponsored by the Ignatian Spirituality Center and Seattle University Magis: Alumni Committed for Mission.
