Called and Gifted

Have you ever wondered just how you fit into the overall mission of Christ to the world? Do you desire to serve God, but aren't sure how you can do so most effectively? Are you curious about your spiritual gifts? The CALLED & GIFTED Workshop is returning to Blessed Sacrament. You, too, can discern the unique combination of spiritual gifts you've been given by God.

CALLED & GIFTED will take place in Blessed Sacrament Parish Hall on Friday, Feb 2nd from 7:00--9:30PM and Saturday, Feb 3rd from 9:30 AM--4:00 PM. (That still leaves half your weekend to do laundry, go shopping, exercise and, of course, go to mass!) Blessed Sacrament Church is located at 5050 8th Avenue NE Seattle, WA 98105.

CALLED & GIFTED is presented by the Catherine of Siena Institute, a program of the Western Dominican Province dedicated to equipping parishes for the formation of lay Catholics for their mission in the world.

Fishstick Fridays Coming Soon, Be A Part of It

As Lent approaches, we want to observe this special time of our liturgical year in ways that bring our young adult faith community closer together.

We have some ideas for Fishstick Fridays, events that call us to simple, prayerful celebrations of the Lenten season. But, we need your help. Come be a part of bringing to life experiences of faith and fun for all.

We're meeting Sunday, Feb. 11, after our monthly wine and cheese following the 5:30 p.m. mass.

Wine & Cheese Sunday is Sunday, Feb. 11, following the 5:30 p.m. mass. Stick around to nosh and discuss amongst yourselves, "Are Himalayan goji berries a 'miracle fruit' or just another marketing ploy?"

Better yet, if you could help us out with the preparation just before mass ends. We could use some extra hands to help set up the wine and cut the cheese.
