Blessed Sacrament Parish Celebrates Centennial
St. Joes celebrated our centennial and now it's time for our neighbors on the next hill - Blessed Sacrament Parish in the U-District - to celebrate theirs. This parish has been served by the Order of Preachers, aka the Dominican friars and brothers, since 1908.
Throughout the coming year, the ministry of the Dominicans will feature a variety of events. Check out the schedule on their Centennial Events page. Music fans everywhere should note part of the celebration includes Tom Booth in concert Jan. 24, 7 pm, on the UW campus.
